2) Best Book: World Coins Korean Coins at the United States Mint by Mark Lovmo
This is the first extensive examination of South Korea's coining contract with the United States Mint. The contract produced 295 million coins for South Korea between 1959 and 1962. Also included are South Korea's communications and abandoned work projects with the U.S. Mint later in the 1960s that portend South Korea's future business-strike coin issues.
“[Lovmo's] book is among the first to effectively draw on the NARA foreign coinage project files. I felt it deserved recognition for quality and scope of research.” -Roger W. Burdette
