This volume (RMRVe V/1) is completely devoted to the description of the coins found over the decades in the territory of the municipality of Padua and part of its province (the previous volume in the series is in fact devoted to the southern territory of the province of Padua, with the epicenter being the important Paleovenetian and then Roman center of Este). It represents the first detailed survey conducted for the very important site of Patavium, a city of noble Roman origins. The volume marks a further stage in the scientific journey that will see the complete cataloging of the Veneto Region's coin finds by bringing back the cataloging of coins held in public and private collections, which began in the 1990s and is nearing completion.
