Following the currency is for me like traveling on the highway of history, every now and then you get out at a toll booth (currency you look at and look back at, before you close your eyes and dream) and explore the surrounding area, learn the customs and traditions of the people who live there, relive their history. Traveling in Europe, all in all, is quite easy; geographical problems, if any, are contained... a few out-of-town detours more or less we have all done, and where we have not been we are helped by school reminiscences, a little more difficult is to move on territories almost unknown to us so; that little coin of the Arsacids put me in crisis, I planted myself and before talking about the Parthians and their coins it was game to go back to the school desks to study geography . I offer it to you again as G.W Rawlinson saw it many, many years ago and if you want to make the journey with me again...be my guest: in the chariot gentlemen we set out, destination Parthia to learn about the people who for about 500 years (from about 250 A.Ch.~approximately to 250~A.D.) prospered there and their coins.
