In this vast work Ciana has collected all or nearly all the medals struck for Trieste from the mid-18th century to the present day, concerning the most varied events and personalities inherent in the city. It consists of 420 pieces, excellently illustrated and annotated. Unfortunately, his untimely death, did not allow the author to complete the work, which will be continued by Bernardi Claudia.
