Numismatics, Sigillography and Epigraphy is an open access online and printed journal.

The publication of the journal began in 2003 with a decision of the Scientific Council of the then Archaeological Institute with Museum (AIM) under the name "Numismatics and Epigraphy". The idea was to create, at a high polygraph level, the first periodical academic publication in Bulgaria on numismatics, under the patronage and with the financial means of the then AIM – BAS (now NAIM – BAS) – a tribune of the scientific searches and achievements of Bulgarian and foreign scholars. In 2004 issue 1'2003 of the journal was printed with the title "Numismatics and Epigraphy". In the following year 2004, by a new decision of the Scientific Council of the AHM, the annuary was renamed Numismatics, Sigillography and Epigraphy. Under this name, but with the profile preserved, the journal has been published from issue 1'2004 onwards.
