Proceedings of the International Numismatic Congress

First International Numismatic Congresses were occasional. Since 1953 they are held every six years. Proceedings for the 1967 International Numismatic Congress were not published due to cost reasons (as reported in Coin World, October 4, 1967).

The congress also provides the occasion for publication of a Survey of Numismatic Research, a critical bibliography, which highlights recent developments in all areas of numismatics.
