The journal Numismatické Listy was founded in 1945 by the Czechoslovak Numismatic Society and has been published by the National Museum since 1963. The journal features both longer peer-reviewed scientific and scholarly studies in the fields of numismatics, economic history, and archaeology, as well as thematic and catalog listings, publication of finds and material, and shorter articles on coins, medals, banknotes, and decorations—both domestic and foreign. It also includes reviews and current news in the field. Numismatické listy is included in the list of peer-reviewed non-impact journals and is published four times a year.
