Museum Notes was an annual publication by the American Numismatic Society (ANS), featuring original research across all areas of numismatics. The series began in 1945 and continued until 1988, producing a total of 33 volumes. In 1989, it was succeeded by the second series of the American Journal of Numismatics.

Each hardcover volume of Museum Notes compiled scholarly articles that contributed to the understanding of history, political science, archaeology, and art history through the study of numismatic objects.

The publication covered a wide range of topics, including ancient, medieval, modern, and oriental numismatics.
