Comments

The warrah (Dusicyon australis), also known as the Falkland Islands wolf, was the only native land mammal present on the islands. Even though it was a canid, it wasn’t a wolf at all and was in fact the only known modern member of the genus Dusicyon. The warrah is considered to be extinct and its last live specimen was seen in 1876.
