This anonymous coin issued by the Ghorids of Bamiyan and likely minted at Bamiyan, is a copy of Tye 185. Generally base metal, T 164 exists in many variations. Where legible, the obverse legend surrounding the bull reads Sri Mahamada Same (in Nāgarī) and the reverse surrounding the horseman reads Sri Hamirah, “hamirah” being the Sanskritized form of the Arabic title Amir.
