This coin bears an impressive trilingual legend (Pahlavi, Brahmi, & Baktrian). Some variants of this type bear gold inlays/plugs at the base of the bust's neck. This was done contemporarily, and is though to either be a means of increasing the coin's value or a method of anti-counterfeiting. Recent readings of the legends possibly point to a Baktrian origin instead of a Turk Shahis origin.
