Royal Mint of Madrid (Real Casa de la Moneda de Madrid), Spain (1591-date)

Comments

Mints: In even years, the coins were minted in Madrid (Spain), in odd years in Pessac (France)

The Pyrenean chamois (Rupicapra pyrenaica) is a goat-antelope that lives in the Pyrenees and Cantabrian Mountains of Spain, France and Andorra, and the Apennine Mountains of central Italy. It is one of the two species of the genus Rupicapra, the other being the chamois, Rupicapra rupicapra.
The Bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus), also known as the lammergeier and ossifrage, is a very large bird of prey and the only member of the genus Gypaetus.
