This coloured $2 coin was released into circulation by the Royal Australian Mint in 2014. It celebrates Remembrance Day, the 11th of November, where at 11am a minutes silence is observed to remember all fallen combatants In all wars. The picture on this page is the mintmarked NCLT version as mentioned below.

An uncirculated “C” mint marked version was released in a folding coin card.

Australia Post released a two coin PNC, Issue 13a of 2014, that included a 2012 Red Poppy "C" Mintmarked coin and a 2014 Green Peace Dove Non-Mintmarked coin, in very limited numbers (1,111).
