Released by the RAM to celebrate “Bluey” which is an Australian animated preschool television series which premiered on ABC kids in 2018. The show follows Bluey, an anthropomorphic Blue Heeler puppy who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination and curiosity about the world.
This coin is was included in a special tube of all five $2 coins that included an album to store them in for $34.
One in ten of the Tubed Set of five coins had this exclusive coloured version of the Bluey Sleepytime coin.
The coins Issued jointly by The RAM & Australia Post with two other coloured $2 coins also issued into circulation as change from 3500 Post Offices Australia wide. The five coins in the tube & two coloured ones from change make up the seven coin set of episode themes from the Bluey cartoon series..
