Obverse
The obverse of the medal presents a finely engraved portrait of Constantin Brâncoveanu, the renowned ruler of Wallachia, depicted wearing traditional princely attire and a distinctive ceremonial fur hat adorned with a feather. His dignified expression reflects his historical importance as a political leader and cultural patron. Around the upper edge is the inscription “CONSTANTIN BRANCOVEANU.” At the bottom are the years 1654–1714, indicating his birth and death. Decorative star-like symbols on either side enhance the commemorative design. This side honors Brâncoveanu’s legacy as one of Romania’s most significant historical figures.
