The commemorative coin is part of the "Country of Superheroes" series (within the "My Immortal Ukraine" cycle). It is dedicated to the professionals of the Ukrainian defense industry — engineers, designers, and technicians who develop and manufacture advanced weaponry.
The release on April 13 coincides with the professional holiday, "Day of the Defense Industry Workers of Ukraine". This date was officially chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the 2022 sinking of the Russian cruiser Moskva by Ukrainian-produced Neptun anti-ship missiles.
