The Diamond Maple Leaf Brooch was worn by Queen Elizabeth II during her own visits to Canada, including in 2010 when she attended the Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa. A gift for Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother) from King George VI ahead of their royal tour of Canada in 1939.
