Obverse
The Finnish high school graduation hat, known as ylioppilaslakki, has a white, octagonal cap with a narrow black visor and a small lyre emblem, symbolizing completion of the lukio (upper secondary school) matriculation exam. It is worn during graduation ceremonies, formal occasions, and during the Vappu (May Day) festivities. The outer ring has 12 roses.

Copper Nickel token as part of the Finnish Graduates mint set series minted 2003 - 2018.
This mint set token has on the obverse side a Finnish high school graduation hat, known as ylioppilaslakki, with white octagonal cap with a narrow black visor and a small lyre emblem, symbolizing completion of the lukio (upper secondary school) matriculation exam. The reverse side has the same lyre emblem, but full sized.
Before 2007 this was a Silver medal with a year date, carrying each year the current year date .
This Graduates 2007-2018 token kept the same image , but the token material changed to copper nickel and was issued without a specific date, so it could be used every year.
