Purmer and van der Wiel (HPM) say that the designation by Verkade (1848) of this type as a quarter leeuwendaalder is erroneous (10 stuivers would have been valued higher), yet they retained this name. Numista first lists 10 stuivers as this is the value stated on the coin.
