Comments

1863 No Compromise Civil War Patriotic, Fuld 107/432b, R.5 Brilliant brassy (yellow) luster appears on both sides of this extremely important token. The crudely engraved obverse shows myriad circular lathe lines with clash marks from the back of Washington's head and elsewhere. The reverse die was combined with 22 different obverses.
