Obverse
The central element of the composition is the image of a dragon.
On top is the Chinese character 龍, at the bottom left is the mint mark.
There are decorative curls along the edge of the medal.
At the bottom there is an inscription - the year of issue and the symbolism of the medal, on the sides of which two cubic zirconia crystals are inlaid.

In the center of the composition is the Yin-Yang sign (a traditional symbol of harmony and unity of opposites in Chinese philosophy), surrounded by a decorative frame with Greek ornaments.
Around the central element in a circle are images of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac with a signature, each of which symbolizes one of the years of the 12-year cycle

Comments
The commemorative medal "Year of the Dragon" from the "Eastern Calendar" series was made in 2024 at the St. Petersburg Mint of Goznak. It is dedicated to the symbol of 2024 according to the Chinese zodiac calendar - the Dragon.
The special feature of the medal is the insertion of two cubic zirconia crystals (synthetic zirconium dioxide) with a diameter of 1.75 mm each.
The medal is packaged in a capsule and a branded box, and a certificate is included.
