The International Federation granted its patronage at the Congress in Hamburg, Germany, in May 1959, to the BARCELONA CIF-60 exhibition, which was held in Hall 1 of Barcelona's Montjuïc Park from March 25 to April 5, 1960. It was the first Spanish international exhibition to receive this patronage and, with its 4,700 display cases, became the largest FIP exhibition held up to that time.
