100th Anniversary of the KomSoMol
Obverse
The central image features profiles of a young man and woman—a typical image of KomSoMol members—and a red flag with the inscription "100 Years," beneath which is the inscription "VLKSM."
Below is a stylized image of a fireworks display in honor of the anniversary and the mint mark.
The design is executed in a contrasting black and gold palette with elements of coloured enamel.

The medal was issued in 2018 by the St. Petersburg Mint GOZNAK in honor of the 100th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union (VLKSM), founded on October 29, 1918.
