Comments

The Chief of Staff of Israel's Defense Forces, every year prior to Israel's Independence Day, presents a gift to orphans, of fallen IDF soldiers, who have not yet reached the age of 18. The gift represents a message of love and concern from the Chief of Staff to all the IDF orphans.
The medal is a personalized gift bearing the signature of the Chief of Staff. The design of the medal expresses that it represents a gift, not only from the Chief of Staff and the IDF, but also from the State of Israel.
The Engraving on the medals represents about one thousand words of appreciation to each orphan boy and girl as well as to their families.
