Issued individually (issue limit: 3,000, sales unknown). The coin was also issued in a set with a William IV half-crown (issue limit: 100, sales unknown). This modern remastering was created using scans of an original 1831 crown held by The Royal Mint Museum and pays tribute to Merlen’s reverse design for the 1831 crown, which he created for the new coinage sets of William IV’s reign.
