Reverse

Script: Latin (cursive)

Lettering:
Zum Heilebart wir pilgern gern,
wir Wandervogelscharen;
Frühmorgens schon von nah und fern
wir kommen angefahren.
Zupfgeigenklang schwirrt
durch die Luft.
an hört uns schon
von weiten.
Ein Lied vom Harzer
Waldesduft
bring Reigenstakt
ins Schreiten.

Translation:
To Heilebart we gladly pilgrimage,
we bands of Wandervogels;
Early in the morning, from near and far,
we travel to arrive.

Plucked violin sounds drift through the air,
we can already be heard from afar.
A song of the Harz forest’s fragrance
sets a dancing rhythm in our steps.
