Comments

The "Coats of Arms of Cities, Provinces, Regions, and Posads" series of medals from the Leningrad Mint (LMD) are made of cupronickel with a diameter of 42 mm in PROOF quality. 
The theme: coats of arms of cities, provinces, regions, and poasads of the Russian Empire, including state coats of arms (small, medium, and large) and regional symbols (coats of arms of the St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Penza provinces, the Kuban region, and others). Some of the pieces were issued by commission from banks (Tarkhany, Inkombank) or as part of art projects.
