Script: Latin
Lettering:
KING GEORGE VI QUEEN ELIZABETH
VISIT TO CANADA 1939
Script: Latin
Lettering:
JULY 12 1939 TORONTO
ROYAL TOUR
CANADA
1939
Plain
Curiously, the date on the medal is July 12, 1939. The royal tour of Canada took place between May 17 to June 15, 1939. The tour stopped in Toronto on May 22. July 12 probably refers to the Orangeman parade.
