Comments

This note is an emergency emission, due to the 1 Pound (P#2) failing due to counterfitting. The original note is a South Australian 1 Pound, from 1st of September, 1894.

 

This note should not be confused with the P#A111, which is the same note overprinted with the same text, but with a pattern in the bottom on the overprint and original date 1st of December 1910.

 

The signature of James R. Collins is on this note titled Accountent.
