Royal coat of arms of Siam, depicting escutcheon divided into three quadrants. Airavata in top chief quadrant, represents the Thai heartland, the three heads of the elephant represents its northern, central and southern regions. White elephant facing left in lower left dexter base quadrant, represents the Laotian suzerainty. Two-crossed krises, one with and one without a scabbard, in sinister base lower right quadrant, represents the Malay (Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu) suzerainty in the south. Emblem of Chakri dynasty, Trishula trident pointing up inserted in Chakra discus, on top of the shield, crowned by the Great Crown of Victory, with top of the crown emitting 18 rays. Chain of the Order of the Nine Gems, representing Buddhism, with a chain and pendant from the Order of Chula Chom Klao surrounding the shield. Two seven-tiered Chatras umbrellas flanking the shield, supported by Gajasiha elephant-lion facing right on the left, and Rajasiha king-of-the-lions facing left on the right, both standing on multi-layered royal seat, with Royal slippers placed on each side. Sword of Victory attached with Royal flywhisk to the left and the Royal staff attached with Royal fan to the right crossed behind the shield. Cloak of the Order of Chula Chom Klao mantling tied with ribbons.
