Minted by Stokes this is part of a series of Tourist Dollars that were able to be purchased at various Tourist places around Australia.
Several key landmarks around Adelaide are depicted, including the main ship of the first fleet of South Australia, the HMS Buffalo, of which there was a replica located in Glenelg, a beach-side suburb of Adelaide. Also depicted is a Koala - commonly seen at Cleland Reserve - as well as the “mall's balls” landmark in Rundle Mall and the Adelaide Festival Centre.
