The Churchill Centenary Medals - 24 Silver Medals - Collection by John Pinches Ltd for The Churchill Centenary Trust, 1974 The Winston Churchill sterling silver medal collection is a set of 24 silver medals which commemorates the 100th anniversary of Churchill's birth in 1874 and follows the important events of Sir Winston Churchill's life from birth to death. They are held in a faux leather bound album with 4 pages of medals, 6 to a page, with a detailed description of the meaning of each medal. Each medal is solid silver,each weighs 26 grams with a diameter of 39 mm. Each medal is hallmarked and stamped with the word's "Trustees Presentation Edition"
There are gold-plated versions in a blue album.
