Unabridged legend: 4 Reales (San Luis de Potosí mintmark) 1876 P. S. 10 Dineros 20 Granos
As counterfeit, coin has the San Luis de Potosí (Pi) mintmark, P S Mint master and assayer's initials, that do not match with active this year/mint, and fineness description. Of course they don't correspond to reality by being fake coin.
Dineros/granos were an old purity scale, used for silver. Pure silver was equal to 12 Dineros, and each dinero was divided on 24 Granos; therefore, this scale express silver fineness of 0.9027 (10 Dineros = 0.8333 + 20 Granos = 0.0694).
Likely silvered
