Infanta Maria Margarita of Habsburg (1651 - 1673), daughter of King Philip IV of Spain (1605-1665), Empress of the Holy German Empire
This portrait is one of a series of fifteen effigies of members of the Habsburg family that adorned the bathroom cabinet of Queen Anne of Austria (1601-1666), wife of Louis XIII (1601-1643) and sister of Philip IV, in the Louvre Palace. It is attributed to the son-in-law of Diego Velázquez (1599-1660).
