The obverse of the coin is made in matte finish, the reverse is made in proof finish.
TheHonest Value Never Fails silver rounds depicting the USS Constitution were struck at the Libert Mint. This private mint was based in Provo Utah and began operations in 1984. After several change of ownerships and names, the Liberty Mint Ltd ceased operations in 1999.
