1943: JESPERS without R
The material used is actually a zinc-alloy, a spelter. The term in Dutch is 'handelszink', literally translated as 'trade zinc'.
This coin was made during the German occupation during World War II.
The 1945 coin is not mentioned by Morin (2012) or Aernout (2019), only by Krause (2016) so its existence is doubtful.
The 1946 coin is regarded by Aernout (2019) as a trial strike and Krause estimates that 10,370,000 were struck.
