THO credits Canemco - (CAMENCO MFG . LTD.) as the mint. Similarities to the Calgary Coin Association & Edmonton Coin Club medal are noted.
A (1978) reference states, "The name of this firm has sometimes been recorded as Canemco in the literature. This is incorrect."
THO also notes; “Rotated die variety exists. Note the line going from 1 o'clock down to 7 o'clock position on reverse.”
In this case the line(s) are noted to be almost vertical on the reverse from 12 to 6.
