Victor Lemaire (1826-1906), medal engraver and medallist in Ghent, and Godefroid Devreese (1861-1941) certainly couldn't have engraved medals commemorating the Second World War. The Fonson workshop therefore recovered older works to compose this medal in tribute to the workers of the Cockerill factories...
