Engraved in a private American workshop, The Patrick Mint, in Santa Rosa, California. It is part of a set of nine subjects on the theme of "wildlife protection" (here a "Great Blue Heron" for Saint Pierre et Miquelon). All the coins in this series were struck in proof. There were 50 sets of nine coins of this theme that were finally struck by this private workshop.
