Engraved in a private American workshop, The Patrick Mint, in Santa Rosa, California. It is part of a set of nine subjects on the theme of "wildlife protection" (here the "Great Egret" for the island of Martinique). All the coins in this series were struck in proof. Only 50 sets of 9 coins on this theme were finally struck by this private workshop.
