100th Anniversary of the Formation of the USSR
The top of the medal references a historical event: the signing of the Agreement on the Formation of the Soviet Union at the First Congress of Soviets. On the left is a relief image of the façade of the Bolshoi Theater, where the signing took place. On the right is a painting by Stepan Dudnik depicting the signing itself, created using laser matting technology.
At the bottom of the medal are inscriptions.
