To commemorate the 1981 of the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana on July 29, 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral. The counterstamped were made using Canadian silver dollars (dates used may have varied). The coins were presented in red (or blue), with a 1,000 medals initially authorized by Mel Wacks, however fewer medals were actually made according to his records.
