A commemorative medal was issued by the Moscow Mint (MMD) in 2022 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Russia's illegal intelligence service. The issue's motto is: "Without the right to glory, for the glory of the state."
The medal is issued in a thematic souvenir booklet. June 28, 1922, is considered the founding date of Russia's illegal intelligence service. The commemorative medal is dedicated to the officers who operate under false names and cover stories in other countries to protect the interests of the state.
