Translation: "Plaatselijke Tocht" is a Dutch phrase, which in English translates to 'local tour', abbreviated locally to Pl. T. Tocht. The Netherlands has a culture of organized touring skating events called 'Tochten' held during the winter when ice covers the rivers, lakes and dykes to an approved depth.
