The Royal Australian Mint continues the Lunar Year Aluminium-bronze NCLT $1 coin releases this time with a two coin set issued in capsules in a dual coincard to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Horse in 2026.

The Chinese Zodiac is based on a twelve year cycle, each year being represented by an animal. People born in the "Year of the Horse" are good to be around because of their high spirits and energy. However they can sometimes be selfish, cunning and egotistical. They are impatient and not to be trusted with a secret. Those born in 2026, 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, 1942 or 1930 were born into the year of the Horse.
