The set of medals of the Moscow Mint "Planets of the Solar System" is a souvenir collection issued by the Moscow Mint (Goznak) in 2020 in a print run of 200 copies in Proof quality.
The set consists of 9 medals of different sizes dedicated to the Sun and Planets, with a detailed design and informative elements. 8 of them with the image of the planets of the Solar System are made of nickel silver, and the central medal with the image of the Sun is minted from tombac. On the reverse side of each medal there is information (name of the planet, distance from the Sun, radius, mass, satellites).
The medals are packed in individual capsules, and the entire set is in a cardboard case with information about the Solar System in Russian and English and a magnetic clasp.
The medals were made using color printing and laser matting technology.
