Comments

Both the Standard Catalogue of World Paper Money and the Banknote Book report that this banknote was printed by the Reichsdruckerei, but the Reichsdruckerei was founded in 1879. It is likely that this note was printed by one of the company's predecessors: the Privy Court Printing Office, or the Royal Prussian State Printing Office.
