Comments

South African Medals: At the suggestion of Marie de Mann, the medal was commissioned by the Dutch Numismatic Society, and produced by Begeer of Holland in honour of President Steijn. The design was taken from a model by A. Achtenhagen. The medal was released for sale on 29th November 1902.
