Comments

Established in 1895 by the Brücher family of Schiedgen. Taken over in 1903 by Franz Brücher, it then passed into the hands of Georges Brücher. Georges Brücher, married to Anne Schuller, ran the business as a couple until his sudden death from heart failure in 1948. Anne Schuller subsequently remarried Ernest Schmit, with whom she continued to run the café until her own death in July 1975.

In 1969, to mark the opening of a new bowling alley, the couple issued this token, minted in batches of 1,000.
