In 1927, Franck Jay Goul, an American billionaire who had made his fortune in the railroads and already owned the Grand Hotel opposite, decided to entrust the construction of a second Casino in Bagnoles-de-L'Orne to the architect Auguste Bluysen. This building, with its beautiful Art Deco style facades, is today one of the key elements of the resort's life and entertainment.
